2. Booking a Workshop

• Bookings are made via our website and are subject to availability.

• Full payment is required at the time of booking via Wix, Stripe, or PayPal.

• You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is complete. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us.

 

3. Cancellations and Refunds

By you (the customer):

 

• You may cancel your booking up to 14 days before the workshop for a full refund.

• If cancellation is made within 14 days of the event, we are only able to offer a refund if we can fill your space in time, except in exceptional circumstances (at our discretion).  Please get in touch to see what we can offer. 

• You may request to transfer your booking to a future workshop, subject to availability.

 

By us (Meet and Makes):

 

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule workshops due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, low bookings).

• If we cancel, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

 

4. Attendance and Participation

• Please arrive on time. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals once a session has started.

• If you are unable to attend without cancelling in advance, your ticket will be considered used.

• If a workshop involves children under 13, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

5. Health, Safety, and Accessibility

• You are responsible for informing us of any allergies, dietary needs, or accessibility requirements at the time of booking.

• We will do our best to accommodate your needs, but we are not liable for any adverse reactions if we were not made aware in advance.

• Please follow any safety instructions given during the workshop to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

 

6. Behaviour and Conduct

• We aim to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment. Any disruptive, offensive, or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from the workshop without refund.

• Children must be supervised appropriately and behave respectfully toward others and the materials.

 

7. Liability Disclaimer

• We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your personal belongings during a workshop.

• While we take every precaution, participation in hands-on craft activities involves some inherent risk. You attend at your own risk.

• We are not liable for injuries or health issues that may arise during or after attending a session.

 

8. Intellectual Property

• All workshop materials, content, and designs remain the intellectual property of Meet and Makes unless otherwise stated.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials for commercial purposes without written permission.
