About the event
Workshop Overview
Thinking ahead to International Women's Day, I will be encouraging you to think about celebrating the women in your life through the medium of these good vibe rosettes. Embroider a slogan then layer colourful felt and ribbons to show fellow women how wonderful they are. Bonus points for celebrating something good about yourself!

Date: Thursday 26th February - 7:30pm for a 7:40pm start
Duration: Approx 2 hours
Location: The Hare at Blean, 4 Blean Hill, Blean, Canterbury CT2 9EF
Materials Provided: felt, glue, scissors, ribbons, pins, thread, needles - everything you need!
Cost: £21 per person
What to Expect
There will be time to buy a drink at the bar and meet other attendees before the workshop begins at around 7:40pm. After a super brief embroidery lesson (it's so much simpler than you think!) you can dream up positive slogans for the women in your life. Stitch away before using the templates provided to cut and layer felt and ribbons to create gorgeous colourful rosettes. There will be a helping hand available and time to get a drink and work at your own pace. Relax and unwind whilst indulging your creativity. Plenty of materials will be available for you to make your own design choices and as many rosettes as you can in the time.

Who Can Join
This workshop is suitable for beginners and more experienced crafters alike. We will have examples to copy, templates available, or you can create your own designs. All are welcome.
