What is Tataki Zome?

Tataki Zome, meaning "hammering dye," is a method of printing fabric using natural materials like leaves and flowers. By hammering these plants onto fabric, the natural pigments transfer, creating stunning, one-of-a-kind patterns.

3. Practise Makes Perfect: use scrap fabric to get a feel for the technique and test different botanicals.

4. Creating Your Design: Use hammers to imprint your chosen plants onto the tote bags.

5. Showcase Your Work: Share your creations with fellow participants and take home your unique tote bag!
