About the event
Fun Summer Workshop: Tataki Zome Tote Bag Decoration
Join us for an exciting summer workshop where creativity meets nature! In this hands-on session, participants will use the traditional Japanese technique of Tataki Zome to create beautiful, unique designs on tote bags that they can take home.
What is Tataki Zome?
Tataki Zome, meaning "hammering dye," is a method of printing fabric using natural materials like leaves and flowers. By hammering these plants onto fabric, the natural pigments transfer, creating stunning, one-of-a-kind patterns.
